At The Meadows, the mental and physical wellbeing of the people of Meadow Well is a top priority. Last year, we delivered over 2,600 hours of wellbeing activities to 218 people in our community. If you’re looking to develop a healthier body and mind, we offer a host of activities that will help you do just that.

What we offer
All-round wellbeing with walking football
A little healthy competition is always good for us. Our walking football sessions are a great place to get competitive and make new friends. As long as you make fair tackles and don’t try to run!

Crafts for all abilities
Getting creative is a fantastic way to improve your overall mental health. Whether you’re a master crafter or a total beginner, our craft sessions are for everyone.

Goldie’s Active Minds
A social group for over 65 to come together and participate in group and individual activities such as board games, crafts, knitting and much more.
We are holding a relaxed gardening session every Friday morning at 10am.

Grow our garden and nourish your mind
Our community garden is a place where both people and nature flourish. By getting outdoors and growing our garden together, you’ll reap the benefits that nature has on your wellbeing.

Try your hand at joinery and woodwork
Want to up your DIY game? Or maybe you want to gain practical skills for future work? With our Joinery Instructor, Kurt, you can grow your confidence and become a woodwork expert.
