We were delighted to host Business in the Community’s North East Leadership Board at our centre this week. It was an opportunity to explore partnership working and better understand how we can work more closely with North East based businesses in a mutually beneficial way.
Our Chief Officer, Mandi Cresswell, and Chair, Margie Burdis, provided an overview of our history and work alongside examples of successful business partnership working. We were keen to highlight the fantastic support we receive from Capita and TLW Solicitors through staff volunteering, sponsorship and specific business advice.
At the end of their meeting, we were delighted to show board members around the centre and our community garden.
Michelle Brassell, BITC’s NE Senior Lead, said: “Mandi and her team at Meadow Well Connected are dedicated to listening to what their community need, ensuring they are able to provide a warm, supportive and creative environment for all local residents. Board members were impressed by the reach and range of activities available at the centre, and look forward to exploring partnership opportunities.”
We look forward to continuing to work with Business in the Community in helping us support our community in a positive way.
