Are you 18+ and thinking about work, training, an apprenticeship or simply wondering what your next step might be?

Evolve at The Meadows offers a different kind of employment and careers support. It isn’t about sitting in a classroom all day. It’s about trying things, developing practical skills, exploring opportunities and getting the individual support you need to move forward.

As part of Evolve you can access:

• Professional careers guidance with our Careers Guidance Coach, Tony Nichol

• 1-to-1 support and group sessions

• Help with CVs, applications and interview techniques

• Explore the local job market, including environmental and green career opportunities

• Develop practical skills through our guitar-building workshops

• Get hands-on experience working in our 3.2-acre community gardens

• Learn useful everyday skills including cooking on a budget

• Opportunities to gain recognised qualifications, including areas such as First Aid, Health & Safety and Food Hygiene

• Support to access Essential Skills provision if you need it

• Trips and visits to meet local employers and find out about real opportunities

• Explore apprenticeships, training and voluntary placements

You’ll be supported by qualified and experienced staff who will take the time to get to know you, understand where you want to go and help you work towards it.
